The rose campion is an enormously beautiful simple carnation flower that possesses the intense pink color that only a few flowers can achieve. Rose campion produces a profusion of flowers on each plant and will brighten up your flower beds. The leaves are downy and grey-green and easy to recognize in the garden, so it can be removed where it is unwanted.
Rose campion is a biennial plant, which means that it only flowers in the second year and then dies, but if you cut off the flowers after bloom, there is a good chance that the plant will flower in the 3rd and 4th year as well.
Both the fresh and dry flowers can be used in bouquets.
