Honesty is particularly popular in dried form, where it produces large money-shaped seed heads that turn almost silver in colour. It is therefore very popular in decorations and as an everlasting flower. But honesty should also be grown for the flower itself, and not just for the seed heads.
Honesty has the most beautiful bee-friendly, intensely purple flowers, which appear as early as May, when bees are still struggling to find food.
Honesty is a tough friend to have in the garden - once you have honesty in the garden, it will pop up here and there (but can easily be removed where it is unwanted) and it can even give chard a run for its money.
Honesty is a gift to have in the garden and in my opinion you can't have too many of them, so it doesn't matter if they spread a little.
