Flax is an overlooked but fantastic flower that really thrives here in Denmark. Flax produces tall, lanky stems with an abundance of small but incredibly beautiful sky blue flowers. Flax is one of the most beautiful things nature has created, and it amazes me that more people don't grow it in their gardens. Flax produces many flowers throughout the season and when they finish flowering they form small round seed heads that can be used in decorations and dry bouquets. Flax is excellent for bouquets, but it sprinkles with its petals, when it has been picked.
