The fairy tale was about the ambitious little roadside stand, which 2 years ago got its biggest wish fulfilled and was upgraded to a farm shop.

The happy little farm shop thrived for a while and enjoyed the attention and the many happy customers. But one day it was too much. The little farm shop had become tired and bored of always having to be available, always having to be the centre of attention and having to appear clean and tidy, having to serve day in and day out.

No, those had been different times, when it was a roadside stand and could live the free life in a rush - back then it had no obligations and now it longed for the simpler life. In fact, it longed for its retirement - to be able to retire quietly and live out the rest of its days in peace and quiet without constant attention and with a view over the open fields. Yes, that would be just the thing, it thought.

So one day a year ago, it pulled up the tent poles (figuratively speaking) and set off on its final journey. With the help of its owners, it found a nice, quiet spot under the green canopy of the trees, where it had a clear view of the greenery. It filled up well with nice dry wood and felt the joy of once again being useful without constantly having to perform.

The little roadside stand had once again achieved happiness and felt content to its very soul.

Time will tell if the little road-side stand has any more adventures, but it is more than likely that the story of the little road-side stand ends here.

The little stand deserves praise for all it has given to our family.
